Child Rights Advocacy and Protection - Trust and Care Rwanda

Child Rights Advocacy and Protection

Ensuring every child's right to safety, health, education, and development. Trust and Care Rwanda implements comprehensive child protection systems, community awareness campaigns, and nutritional support to create safe environments where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

About Child Rights Advocacy and Protection

Trust and Care Rwanda (TCR) implements child rights education and awareness campaigns, establishes community-based child protection committees, and strengthens reporting and response systems for child abuse. TCR advocates for enforcement of protection laws, builds the capacity of authorities and community leaders, provides support and safe spaces for children at risk, and actively fights against malnutrition and stunting to promote children's healthy growth and development.

Our comprehensive approach addresses both immediate protection needs and long-term developmental support for vulnerable children. We work at multiple levels - from individual children and families to communities and policy makers - to create a protective environment where every child's rights are respected and fulfilled.
