Our Story

For over 20 years, we have been dedicated to transforming lives and building resilient communities across Rwanda.

Trust and Care Rwanda is a non-profit organization committed to supporting vulnerable communities across Rwanda. Founded in 2003, we have been working tirelessly to create sustainable change through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment initiatives.

Our Journey

From our humble beginnings to becoming a catalyst for change in Rwandan communities

2003

Trust and Care Rwanda, a dedicated non-governmental organization, was founded with a mission to tackle poverty-related challenges and uplift those who need it most.

Trust and Care Rwanda Activity

Early Years

We focused on offering vital support to child-headed households, orphans, widows, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. These vulnerable groups were at the heart of our work, and we provided the resources and care they needed to face their daily struggles.

Growth and Expansion

As we grew, so did our impact. Recognizing that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty, we expanded our mission to include comprehensive educational programs. By giving children from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to learn and succeed, we are helping them build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

2023

In our ongoing commitment to community empowerment, we've launched a Poultry Farming Initiative as part of our Economic Empowerment program. This innovative approach provides women with chickens, training, and support to create sustainable income sources through egg and meat production.
